Five of Amber's eight villas are set higher on the hillside — private, secluded, wrapped in the island's forest. From your terrace, the treetops fall away and Phang Nga Bay opens wide: karsts on the horizon, the Andaman stretching toward Krabi and Phuket, longtail boats passing in silence below.
Inside: warm plaster walls, teak and rattan throughout, a floating platform bed, and a bathroom where the sea appears through the glass as you bathe.
